Beyond God's Law

alan | 18 January, 2008 09:23

Belle, Is the only word that suits her well
When she dances, oh the story she can tell
A free bird trying out her wings to fly away
And when I see her move, I see hell to pay
She dances naked in my soul and sleep won't come
And it's no use to pray theses prayers Notre-Dame
Tell, who'd be the first to raise his hand and throw a stone
I'd hang him high and laugh to see him die alone
Oh Lucifer, please let me go beyond God's law
Anf run my fingers through her hair - Esmeralda!

Practical English Usage

alan | 10 October, 2007 08:26

Practical English Usage. If you are an English language student or just learn it for fun, I may highly recommend Michael Swan's the "Practical English Usage" book. That's really a great and very well organized book. Quote: "Provides explanations and examples that are based on corpus research. This work focuses on entries on 'Kinds of English', covering Standard English and dialects, correctness, spoken and written English, formality, and variation and change." You just can't ignore it. Get it from here. Despite it primarily covers British English, but also includes notes for American English speakers in needed cases too.

I'm a blogger too!

Finally I decided to start a personal blog and as you can see now, it's up and running and you are reading the first post. It's powered by LifeType, a simple, fast and powerful blogging system written in PHP. The template is still under development! ;-) That's all folks!
