CMA Awards 2009

alan | 11 November, 2009 23:08

In overall, it was fantastic. Hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood - following a joking type performance method, they were making jokes out of that Kanye West incident you know whenever they could! Their performance about warning parents from raising kids like Kanye West was hilarious. "Cowboys have manners, they don't interrupt". You can watch that Kanye West funny part here. I was wishing Billy Currington to win something but it didn't happen.

My & Joseph at BJ'sFinally resetelled in Glendale and find out that a remote friend from Stuttgart, Germany, I worked for in Vienna as a freelancer programmer has a buiness trip to California. So it was a great opportunity to meet him. Joseph is an engineer who works for Mercedes-Benz company in Stuttgart. He picked me up from home and we went out to have some talk about his plans to create a local service website. Joseph is a really really nice man and it was a great pleasure meeting him. Our "The very first meeting". Hope to meet him soon again.

Life Ball 2008

alan | 17 May, 2008 16:09

Life Ball 2008, LifeBall 2008 - ViennaTonight we were attended in Europe's largest AIDS charity event at city hall of Vienna. It consists of two parts: a fashion show at Rathausplatz and a fancy dress show inside the city hall with a limited number of tickets (4000). It was very interesting and beautiful. There were many people at the show and many many beautiful self designed fancy flashy clothes and also open air music performance. I expected the batteries to be finished but the memory card filled up first!
